ScoutComms is hiring!

ScoutComms seeks a motivated, hard-working account executive to provide communications, advocacy and event support to Fortune 500 companies, veteran-owned businesses and veteran-focused non-profits.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of work or internship experience in the public relations, advocacy, digital media or marketing fields (relevant military service is also valued). They will have outstanding written and oral communications skills, an interest in veteran and military family issues, as well as strong social media and research skills. This position is an ideal opportunity for an eager, driven communications professional to develop valuable skills and experience, as well as deep experience working with the local and national veteran and military family communities.

Account executives provide support directly to ScoutComms clients—including the Home Depot Foundation, the USAA Educational Foundation, the Wounded Warrior Project, Hiring Our Heroes and Student Veterans of America—and help manage the daily activities of ScoutComms’ interns.

ScoutComms pays a competitive salary, based on experience, training and education, which is comparable to large firms. The company provides a monthly health care stipend and reimbursement for cell phone expenses.

ScoutComms is located in Fredericksburg, VA.
